Trio "Mann"

Biography
Christoph Hartmann        oboe
Martin Kuuskmann           bassoon
Hendrik Heilmann            piano

Christoph Hartmann, oboist of the Berliner Philharmonic Orchestra, and Martin Kuuskmann, one of the world's most foremost bassoonists, got in touch at the „Arosa Music Academy“ in Arosa (Switzerland), where they were assigned to teach master classes. Their passion for the Swiss alpine world had to find its revelation in the music. As a result various concerts were successively planned in Arosa, Oxford Ohio (USA) at IDRS (International Double Reed Society) and at the Landsberger Summer Concerts. Out of these performances the idea came about to found a trio Kuusk- and Hart-, further enforced with Heilmann, - resulting in the unsurprising name „Trio Mann“!

During their first year together a CD was released with works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Theodore Lalliet and Francis Poulenc.

Upcoming concerts will be held by the „Trio Mann“ among others in Estonia and in the U.S.
