TURINA. The Complete Works for Violin and Piano, Dúo DS. Gramola (Diverdi). 5 STARS ABC Cultural, 11.09.2010.
It was a great idea to have compiled the complete works of Joaquín Turina for violin and piano in one double album. This way we have access to some of his best pieces: the first catalogued sonata and El Poema de una Sanluqueña, as well as some of his less known pages, such as Sonata Española from 1908, Variaciones Clásicas and Euterpe, among others.  The versions of the Duo DS are very well recorded and commentated.  Due to their mastering of style and technique, the listener will not yearn at all for older recordings (i.e. Ayo and Canino). The DS Duo presents the complete works for violin and piano by Joaquín Turina. This successful interpretation concedes the composer’s music the richness of its French features.  These are impeccable versions where the authentic national style is meticulously embedded into a broader international musical language.

Patsy Morita All Music, Sept 2010. 4.5 STARS
[…] Violinist David Delgado is Andalusian himself, so he's familiar with the idioms Turina used. He's very much at ease with the music, bringing a thorough musicality to it that makes it sing, shows off all the character in each piece, and invigorates it without distorting its sophistication. […] their performance proves Delgado and Stefan Schmidt as true partners in music.
